How it began
The farm in Nägeleried has been owned by the Kögel family since the beginning of the 19th century. It was actively farmed until the mid-1990s, after which it was shut down due to the owners' advanced age.
We originally planned to renovate the old farm building with its stable and threshing floor – however, the architects quickly put a stop to that idea. It was therefore demolished in the autumn of 2024.
New building
The result is a new house built using timber frame construction – erected by the Jörg carpentry firm (right next door) and many great craftsmen from the Allgäu region.
In addition to the holiday apartment, there are two other apartments in the building: our own and one that we rent out on a monthly basis.
